Help The Museum Plan Out It’s Future

Stakeholder Meeting

Sunday May 17, 2015

@ The West End Museum

12:00 PM until 6:00 PM

Registration: Free

The West End Museum has begun an important planning phase in an effort to make the museum more relevant and meaningful to the local community as well as to visitors from afar. But we need your help. We are contacting you as someone with an interest in the history of the West End, the City of Boston and its important museums, historic sites and cultural institution like the West End Museum.

This planning process will help us prepare for improved public programs and exhibits at the West End Museum. We are examining all portions of the museum’s rich and varied history to help chart these improvements and would appreciate your involvement.

You are invited to attend a workshop on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the West End Museum. The meeting will run from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM with a light lunch and refreshment breaks provided by the museum. Sign-in will begin at 11:30 AM. If you are unable to attend, please send a representative from your organization.

The entrance to the West End Museum is at 9 Lomasney Way, Boston MA 02114. We recommend that participants use public transportation, as the museum is only one block from North Station. The nearest parking garages are Garden Garage, located at 35 Lomasney Way, and Longfellow Garage, located at 60 Staniford Street.

While participation for the full workshop is encouraged, we value your time and would welcome you for part of the afternoon if necessary. This meeting will allow us to work with significant members of the community and with scholars to gain insight into important aspects of the museum’s history for our future plans.

To participate in this exciting opportunity attendance, please register before Monday May 11, 2015. Registration is free.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the process, and can be reached at 617-723-2125, by email at or by USPS at 50 Staniford Street, Suite 7, Boston MA 02114.

We look forward to your participation!
