The West End Museum Photo Contest

Do you have a great photo of the Otis House? Ether Dome? The Longfellow Bridge? Or maybe another wonderful West End scene? Introducing the West End Museum Photo Contest!

As part of our new show “Life in the West End 1947-1953; The Photography of Jules Aarons” we invite you to share your favorite photos of the West End neighborhood of today. The best photos will be made into a poster to highlighting all that is great about the West End. All paritcipants with a photograph in the winning poster will receive a free copy of that poster!

Send photos directly to thewestendmuseum@gmail.com or upload them to Facebook and tag The West End Museum.

Submissions will be accepted from May 1st through August 1st. Be sure to check our Facebook page for weekly staff favorites!

But wait, where’s the West End?The West End covers the territory from City Hall to the river and the North End to Beacon Hill. If in doubt, see the Google map showing the boundaries (dashed grey line).

The Small Print
Any image that you send us must be your personal work and if it features peoples’ faces, please make sure that you have their permission to use the photograph. In sending your photograph to us, you surrender all copyright and give The West End Museum unlimited permission to use that image across websites, social media and in print. Please include a brief description of the location of the photograph (and an explanation if it needs one!).
