More West End Oral Histories

On November 15, 2014, the Mass. Memories Road Show—a statewide digital history project that documents people, places and events in Massachusetts history through family and community photographs and videos—rolled into The West End Museum.

The event attracted 142 former and current West Enders. Attendees’ photos were digitized for preservation at scanning stations, while an on-site videographer recorded oral histories. Click here to view the collected videos and photos.

The Museum thanks the Mass. Memories Road Show crew and volunteers, as well as the event co-hosts: UMass Boston, Vilna Shul, the West End Civic Association and the West End Branch of the Boston Public Library.
