If it weren’t for Charles Bulfinch you’d be walking among the cows in Boston Common. During his tenure as police superintendent and chairman of Boston’s Board of Selectmen, Bulfinch transformed the cow pasture into a park. “Bulfinch: Boston & Beyond” covers the architect and urban planner’s life and accomplishments.
