Old Howard Troupe
The Old Howard Troupe (taking its name from the infamous Howard Athenaeum) is bringing the experience of the English music hall back to life for the enjoyment of modern audiences, and it’s a SHOW! The Troupe’s six singers, in their over-the-top stage costumes that span the music hall’s heyday, are accompanied onstage by their trusty piano accompanist. They sing classics from the music hall stage, such as “Let Me Call you Sweetheart” and “Daisy Bell”. Many of the songs have cheeky tongue-in-cheek humor, and audience members are invited to sing along with the Troupe on the choruses.
