Around the corner from the TD Garden, the West End Museum continues to maintain the memory of a beloved neighborhood that, 60 years ago, fell prey to the urban renewal wrecking ball.

The Lomasney Way (named for Martin Michael Lomasney, a former state senator, state representative and alderman best known as the ward boss of Boston’s West End) institution just reopened to the public on April 16. Its newest exhibit, “Learned from Our Neighbors: Stories from The Elizabeth Peabody House,” is a collaborative work on settlement life that spotlights a pioneering social worker.
